Kezia turned four this week. She has grow a lot this past year. Here are some of her new developments:
-she learned to ride a two wheel bicycle.
-she can button up her clothing.
-she has started sounding out phonetic words.
-she can print almost all her letters.
-she can go into a public washroom stall on her own.
-she enjoys helping mommy bake and set the table.
-she is learning to jump rope (so cute!)
Pretty much she wants to do anything and everything that her older siblings do. Kezia is a sweet joy. She is very sensitive and still quite easy to negotiate with. Kezia is the most shy of our three- she likes to stay close to mommy in new situations. I look forward to the coming year, and all the new things that she will accomplish!
This year Kezia asked for an A,B,C party. Weird I know. I guess it is because of her new found love of sounding out words. Anyways, we went with it- and this is what I came up with...
When the guests arrived. Everyone got to fill out a menu card. |
While lunch was being prepared, the kids got to make Valentine bags. |
Lunch is served. |
Then we moved on to A,B,C, memory, where they had to choose objects that started with the same letter as their name. Beatrice with her "bacon"... |
and kezia with her kiwi. |
The bigger kids, had a bigger game of the same. |
A little game of stick the flower on the cupcake. |
Cake of course. |
The big four year old, with her little cake. (That's a whole other story folks!) |
What's a preschool party with duck, duck, goose? We changed it to A,B,"C"! |
The less than creative "loot".
Below are some shots from her actual bday, which happened to also be Family Day. |
Breakfast with Oma and Opa. |
Amazing roast beef dinner with the Copland's. |
